Fall Colors in East Tennessee

All of these photos were taken within an hour drive of my home. Coming from the flat lands of Lubbock, Texas, it still blows my mind that I now live so close to this kind of view.

No, this is actually the Lookout Tower on the Foothills Parkway. Pretty neat drive along a ridge with some great views.

That’s one of my favorite places. I used to go there to read/study. If you walk past the tower down a little path that goes underneath it, there are some amazing rocks to climb with huge crevices. There’s also a rock to climb out on and sit with an amazing view.
